About us
The Northwest Parkway is a 75-mile per hour public toll road that connects E-470 in the east, at I-25, which is north of 144th Ave, with U.S. 36 and State Highway 128 in Broomfield, Colorado, USA. The Parkway is a public road 100% privately funded. No federal funds were/are used to build, operate and maintain the Parkway.

Closed to the public but you can see it here! Northwest Parkway turned its tolling tunnels into a museum, preserving all kinds of tolling memorabilia! 🛣️ Toll booth operators used to walk through these underground tunnels to get to their booths safely.

SUSTAINABILITY & RESILIENCE. Last week, the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) Board of Directors endorsed a "Sustainability and Resilience Framework" document, which is a step forward toward a green and robust future for tolling operations, organizations, and infrastructure. IBTTA acknowledges transportation’s greenhouse gas emissions and the toll industry’s role to address the effects on the environment. The "Sustainability and Resilience Framework" establishes how IBTTA will make a difference, the actions we will take, and the partnerships we will seek to get the job done. Our next steps are designed to help members understand and adopt sustainable investments, operating practices, and business processes aligned with two primary objectives of (1) decarbonization and (2) resilience. Each objective will explore a unique focus on data and measurements, partnerships, and social impact to drive our efforts forward.
