The Caldwell House received a $10,000 grant from our Unifour Foundation Endowment for their “Nourishing Recovery” resident food program. The program helps provide healthy, well-balanced meals for residents living at the Caldwell House who are dealing with substance abuse disorder. The Jamie Kirk Hahn Fund at NCCF is coming to a close, reflecting the evolution of the grieving process for Jamie's family and friends after her 2013 murder. Since 2018, the fund has devoted much of its grant funding to three organizations that focus on issues Jamie — a political strategist and fundraiser — was most passionate about: The Hope Center at Pullen, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Raleigh City Farm.
