In honor of #NationalInternDay, NORESCO celebrates the interns who contribute to our energy and water efficiency and decarbonization projects as part of their education. Here, we recognize Jonathan Peredia, a distinguished student intern who worked on our central utility plant replacement project at California State University, Fresno. He recently graduated, and we wish him and all our interns the best on the next steps of their journeys.

On behalf of Southern California Edison (SCE), NORESCO’s John Arent will lead a day-long webinar about the California Energy Commission’s California Building Energy Code Compliance (CBECC) software on Wednesday, July 31. The webinar, “Introduction to CBECC Energy Modeling Software for Nonresidential Buildings,” is an intermediate-level class ideal for design professionals and energy analysts, in which students will create a simplified model of a building and input data for the various building components. NORESCO is part of the team that developed CBECC for the CEC and has worked with the state and local utility companies for over a decade to manage updates and provide compliance trainings. #energymodeling #energycodes #codecompliance #Title24
