Today's the day! We're excited to announce our $22M Series A! 🎉 Over the last year, we’ve seen 4x growth in annual recurring revenue and helped customers boost pipeline from calls by 2-3x within a month of adopting Nooks. 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝐊 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 - 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤! Some people might think that older applicants like me could be a bit “outdated,” but here’s the thing: when you have a reason to work hard (my biggest motivation in the picture 💖), you push through every challenge. Sure, I might not be the most tech-savvy, but I make up for it with determination, dedication, and a lot of heart. Being a working mom isn’t always easy, but knowing I’m doing it all for my daughter, she’s the reason I stay motivated, the reason behind every dial, the reason for every goal, and the reason I’m so present on the Nooks page. Huge thank you XDRhub for creating such an incredible work environment and for helping me be a better person and professional with Sandler Training and all the support I can’t even name. I’ve learned so much from my colleagues, and I never feel alone even though we work remote. It’s been a wild first couple of weeks at Nooks, ended my first week on the phones with 8 meetings booked 🚀 Coming from a background in hospitality sales, diving into a new industry and using a parallel dialler for the first time I had allot to learn. What helped me ramp up so quickly was spending all day on the virtual sales floor, listening to the SDR crew make calls, and practicing talk tracks and my tone with our AI training bot. Ramping while remote is hard, but a virtual sales floor that makes you feel like you're in an office makes it a little less challenging. P.S. Melanie Smith did an outstanding job setting me up for success. I couldn’t have asked for a better sales leader.

Back in 2019 I had just moved home from working my dream job at Walt Disney World when I got my first BDR job... It was first time ever cold calling it was in a full office infront of 100 colleagues. I had to google the company’s HQ number, manually type in the phone number on my landline phone, come up with creative ways to get past a gatekeeper and figure out how to be confident and not stumble my pitch 😅😅 Luckily I had two great managers to coach me through it, one being Sara Carroll, who was probably the best cold caller I have seen to date. This girl booked everyone who answered the phone. Having a leader like her to teach me the basics of the BDR role and learning how to cold call from the best, helped me get to where I am today. 💜 Throughout the years I have made hundreds of thousands of cold calls, getting more confident year over year, but always returning to the basics instilled by my first manager. Last quarter, I got the chance to meet with Sara and her team. It was my turn to teach them how to be more efficient with cold calling, increase connection rates and conversion rates, and have fun doing it, by using our virtual sales floor with Nooks. 🤗🤗 A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! 🤗 🤗 Now a days, we can make cold calls from virtually anywhere, and our team can listen in live to offer tips and advice! I absolutely hated call coaching back then, now I schedule it once a week with my manager!
