Today #AGRaulTorrez announced a proposed legislative amendment to strengthen penalties against individuals who threaten mass shootings. This amendment will increase what is now a misdemeanor to a felony charge. "Mass shooting threats are not only a danger to public safety but a profound disruption to our communities and schools," said AG Torrez. "Together, we're sending a clear message: New Mexico will not tolerate threats that terrorize our communities and endanger our children." Statewide support is essential as this issue encompasses metro and rural areas. Thank you to the leadership at Rio Rancho Public Schools for hosting us at Cleveland High School and for your support of this legislation. We also want to thank Joy Garratt for sponsoring this legislation as well as the other representatives today who were present from the Rio Rancho Police Department, Albuquerque Police Department, Rio Rancho Public Schools, and Pojoaque Valley Schools .

Cellebrite's tools were essential during our recent undercover chat operation, "Operation Overwatch," in extracting cellphone contents from the online predators we arrested. Cellebrite is a valued partner in our mission and we thank them for helping us safeguard our community's most vulnerable members! #OperationOverwatch https://bit.ly/3Y4H7iu
