About us
The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), New Jersey's science and technology university, has been providing brownfield services to US communities for more than two decades as an EPA designated TAB (Technical Assistance to Brownfield Communities) provider. Currently the EPA regions 2 & 4 TAB provider, NJIT’s multi-disciplinary TAB Team consists of planners, engineers, environmental scientists, geologists, and social scientists who have helped hundreds of communities throughout the country with their brownfield redevelopment projects in three main ways: 1) developing tools and guidance, 2) community engagement and educational forums, and 3) one-on-one technical assistance. NJIT TAB's services are free for government entities and nonprofits.

Happy Climate Week, New Jersey! 🌍 This week is all about bringing back the focus on our climate and what we can do to speed up the progress or champion the work in the fight against climate change. As kickoff to climate week, we are highlighting the ongoing revitalization work at Liberty State Park! Join us this Sat.
