We love when we get the opportunity to connect with the future generation to talk and teach all things water. This week we attended the Neptune Summer Camp. The campers were so excited and interested in learning about the water cycle, our treatment processes, how to reduce point and nonpoint source pollution and what they can do to help protect the environment. #EnvironmentalEducation

Some dogs can’t drink enough water! They love it so much, especially in the summertime. So you’re not worried about dehydration, but the question is, can dogs drink too much water? The answer is yes. In fact, many pet parents aren’t aware of what vets call “water intoxication,” which occurs due to constant exposure to bodies of water such as pools or garden hoses. Speak to your pet’s veterinarian for more detailed information and how to prevent it. #pethydration #NationalPetHydrationAwarenessMonth

Keep pets inside during extreme heat. If they go outside, make sure they have access to a cool bowl of water. Some early warning signs of dehydration in your pet can include loss of appetite, lethargy, loss of skin elasticity, etc. Speak to your pet’s veterinarian if you’re concerned about your pet being dehydrated and to receive more specific, detailed tips to avoid it. #pethydration #NationalPetHydrationAwarenessMonth

Our team was excited to partner with UrbanPromise and Camden Community Partnership for their Summer Community Paddles known as IPaddle at Pyne Point Park in Camden. IPaddle is a festive open house that allows Camden residents to enjoy a 30-minute paddling session on the water while learning about Camden’s natural resources. When our paddlers returned, they appreciated drinking clean, safe and reliable water to quench their thirst. Doreene and Latresha seized the moment to encourage them to trust their tap and toss the bottle.
