Front and rear, why so different? Sasha (only half jokingly) says, “Does your face look like your behind?” The truth is, as with other aspects of the car, it’s a case of form following function. The front punches through the air: it converts the energy stored in the oncoming airflow into cooling for the radiators. It also cleverly directs the rest of the airflow around the car, where it creates aerodynamic stability and carefully measured amounts of downforce. The rear serves a different function: a clean cut-off for the airflow adds to the stability at speed while the all-open design allows the hot air from the engine bay to effortlessly escape.
