Celebrating Our CMO, Dr. Connie Bartlett! 🎉 NHHA’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Connie Bartlett, was recently honored with a Resolution from Assemblyman Tri Ta recognizing her outstanding contributions to the community and her appointment as CMO at NHHA. The resolution acknowledges Dr. Bartlett's fearless advocacy for health equity, and how that has led to significant improvements in access to essential medical services for marginalized populations, particularly in underserved communities. Dr. Bartlett has pioneered initiatives to destigmatize mental illness and promote access to quality mental healthcare, inspiring a cultural shift towards prioritizing mental health. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Bartlett is deeply involved in the community, promoting public health collaboration and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. It’s hard to believe that just two short years ago, NHHA began in one small office of our founder, Paul Leon. Those initial meetings, held with our very first employees Terry Campbell, Erin Blagdon, and Brennan Campbell, set the stage for the mission of the company and the vision for the future. Today, we have a team of nearly 40 passionate and skilled individuals dedicated to making strides in transforming healthcare and housing services across the nation. Welcome Stephanie Cannaday, NHHA’s new General Counsel! Stephanie joins NHHA as our General Counsel, bringing extensive healthcare and corporate law experience and an impressive track record. She previously represented various clients in the healthcare industry, including her tenure as Associate General Counsel for numerous UnitedHealth Group companies in Irvine, California, which spanned over a decade. Under Stephanie’s leadership, she will guide NHHA on legal matters, including compliance, contract negotiation, and corporate governance.  Stephanie’s commitment to pro bono work and community service is equally commendable, earning her the 2017 Orange County Spirit of Volunteerism Award. UP, UP, and AWAY!  🦸♀️ 🦹♂️  On Saturday, we joined over 40 local organizations at the 9th Annual Tichenor Clinic for Children Superheros Carnival & Resource Fair, which serves children with disabilities and their parents & caregivers. 🎉 It was a beautiful day filled with community connection, vibrant face painting for the kids, and a variety of fun activities and prizes at each booth! We were honored to sponsor the event and collaborate with our amazing partner organizations Whole Person Care Clinic, The Leon Institute, and Encompass Housing and provide more information about our services at the Community Care Campus to our neighbors in Long Beach. Together, we continue to build strong relationships with our neighbors in Long Beach.
