This week, Sharpie® and Paper Mate® visited the Boys and Girls Club of Benton County, AR for some seasonal fun using our Sharpie Creative Markers and Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Bright! Pens! Clubgoers used the markers and pens to complete activity sheets, decorate pumpkins and design Contigo® water bottles. The event was part of the brands’ recently-announced, $1 million three-year partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), which includes multiple local club engagements and support towards BGCA’s arts programming. Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton County was also a 2024 grant recipient through our Local Impact Grant Program in which employees in select Newell Brands locations nominate and vote on nonprofits aligned with our focus areas to receive a grant from the Newell Brands Charitable Foundation. Our thoughts are with those recently impacted by significant hurricanes in the Southeast United States. To date, we have committed nearly 1 million Newell products to Good360, Baby2Baby and Save the Children US to support relief efforts. These include Rubbermaid Commercial Products® BRUTE trash containers, spray mops and microfiber cloths, Rubbermaid® plastic totes, Graco® and Baby Jogger® playards, bassinets and strollers, NUK® pacifiers, tableware and bottles Coleman® sleeping bags, tents and outdoor stoves and Contigo® and Bubba® water bottles. Following Hurricane Helene, The Newell Brands Charitable Foundation also announced a monetary donation to the American Red Cross (ARC). The core mission of our philanthropic efforts is to support the communities in which we operate and where our employees and consumers live. During times of crisis and disaster, we are especially proud to honor this commitment.

Newell Brands’ Argentine team was recently recognized in the Martín Fierro Digital Awards, granted by the Association of Argentine Television and Radio Journalists, which honors successful digital campaigns. The team accepted an award in a new category, Best Interactive Promotional Campaign, for its work celebrating 100 years of the Oster® brand with the slogan “lo bueno es para siempre.” The award-winning campaign highlighted Argentine families’ pride and trust in Oster’s products to create special moments that transcend generations. The campaign exemplified Oster's personal connection with its consumers through touching testimonials and showed the versatility of the brand’s product offerings by creating recipes using several appliances. The digital strategy for the campaign included branded content and influencer marketing, integrating the brand into key dates such as Father's Day and El Día del Amigo (Friends Day). Newell Brands Argentina also received a nomination in the same category for a recent Sharpie® campaign, which connected the brand’s diverse product portfolio with the country’s rich culture.
