Over the past two years serving on the New York Women In Communications Board of Directors, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most inspiring and mission-driven women in our industry. I met some of my industry heroes at NYWICI's Matrix Awards. The work of this sisterhood is crucial in promoting diverse voices in communications and marketing, and in empowering women at every career stage. I am thrilled to announce my new role as Chief Partnerships Officer. In Tongo, the cost of mandatory uniforms can keep girls out of school, so Payton McGriff designed an extremely innovative school uniform that grows as the girls do. From there she created sustainable education and employment opportunities for girls and women around the world through her nonprofit Style Her Empowered (SHE). What a tribute to ingenuity!
