🚀 Richtfest des Neugart-Werks 3 in Kippenheim 🏭 Am 13. März 2024 feierten wir gemeinsam mit Bauleuten, Planern und Architekten das Richtfest unseres neuen Werk 3 am Stammsitz in Kippenheim. Mit dem Neubau mit einer Nutzfläche von über 7.000 Quadratmetern setzen wir ein klares Zeichen für zukünftiges Wachstum, verbesserte Produktionsprozesse, erweitern unsere Produktionskapazitäten an unserem Heimatstandort in der Kippenheimer Keltenstraße und tragen dazu bei, dem steigenden Bedarf an hochwertigen Getrieben und Antriebssystemen gerecht zu werden. 🏗 Der Bau begann Ende Juli 2023 mit dem Spatenstich; und nun ist mit dem Richtfest ein großer Meilenstein erreicht – die erste Bauphase des Projekts wurde erfolgreich abgeschlossen. 👷♂️ Ein herzlicher Dank geht an die beteiligten Gewerke: W&V Architekten, Ingenieurbüro Erb GmbH, Ingenieurbüro T.P.I. ✂ Tailored for #DeltaRobots 🤖 Find out how we have fine-tuned our new planetary #gearbox to propel the new delta robot designed by Syntegon Packaging Systems: Syntegon's #packaging and #handling systems encompass versatile robotic solutions for diverse applications. When developing a new delta robot for pick & place operations, Syntegon confronted an extensive gearbox requirement profile. As a longstanding partner and preferred supplier in this domain, we embraced the challenge, resulting in a highly torsionally rigid gearbox model that seamlessly blends precision and dynamics, making it exceptionally well-suited for delta robots. ✳ The Choice of Delta Robots 🤔 Syntegon's preference for delta robots stems from their distinctive kinematics. These robots feature control arms with axes arranged in parallel. The lightweight control arms, devoid of drives in the joints, enable high-speed and dynamic movements with strong accelerations. However, this design places considerable stress on the servomotors and associated gears, necessitating robust and precise drive solutions. ✳ Unique Drive Technology Requirements ⚙️ In pursuit of an optimal solution, Syntegon turned to us, a manufacturer specializing in planetary gearboxes. However, realizing the full potential of a planetary gearbox in delta robots requires specific design adjustments. These include maximizing torsional rigidity, minimizing torsional backlash, reducing mass inertia, providing high acceleration torque and implementing a tailored sealing concept. The newly introduced #NDF flange gearbox exemplifies a potent solution for Delta Robots. Noteworthy for its exceptional torsional rigidity, the gearbox boasts reduced backlash (<1 arcmin as standard), resulting in heightened positioning accuracy. The gearbox's high dynamics contribute to a shortened robot cycle time. Moreover, the NDF incorporates various special features on both the input and output sides. ✳ Sizes and Customization Options 📏 Currently available in size 090, the NDF offers four two-stage ratios between i=22 and i=55. Optional features include food-grade oil lubrication certified to NSF H1 and ISO 21469 standards. Stainless steel output shafts and nickel-plated output flanges are also available options, enhancing corrosion resistance and allowing frequent cleaning with aggressive media, crucial in food and pharmaceutical industries. ✳ Versatility and Practical Experience 🛠️ The NDF gearbox's versatility extends to an individually designed drive for the fourth axis (rotary axis) of the delta robot.
