🚩 Monterey Sailors and Marines Team Up in the 2024 Captain’s Cup! 🚩 Sailors from Center for Information Warfare Training Monterey and Marines from the Marine Corps Detachment Monterey joined forces for the annual Captain’s Cup at the Presidio of Monterey. The event, designed to promote warrior toughness and resilience, brought nearly 700 service members together for a series of challenges that tested their physical and mental strength. 💪 The event wasn’t just about competition—Master Chief Petty Officer Laura Stout emphasized the importance of teamwork: “Our goal was to strengthen the Navy-Marine Corps bond and build a team that’s fleet-ready.” Congratulations to the USS Bonhomme Richard team for winning the flag contest with their creative design, and hats off to all who participated!
