Did you know, summer is a key time to consider giving blood because blood banks across the country tend to experience a drastic decline in donations when it gets hot, thanks to vacation schedules and the fact that many blood drives take place at schools that are closed for the summer break. Visit our friends at Bloodworks Northwest to donate today. #ValueCHCs #NeighborcareHealth #Neighborcare #Seattle #PugetSound #HealthcareForAll #HealthEquity #CHC #CommunityAction #SeattleNonProfit

Everyone deserves quality health care
About us
At Neighborcare Health, we believe everyone deserves a place to call their health care home, where a team of medical, dental and mental health professionals work in collaboration with each patient to develop a personal health improvement plan. We are the largest provider of primary medical, dental and behavioral health care services in the Seattle area serving low-income and uninsured families and individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, immigrants, and the homeless. Each year we care for about 60,000 patients at our nearly 30 non-profit medical, dental and school-based clinics. We ask everyone to pay what they can, but no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Our clinics are located in neighborhoods where health disparities are the greatest, and our care teams, who speak over 55 languages and dialects, are as diverse as our patients. No matter who you are, or where you come from, regardless of your insurance, income or immigration status, you are welcome at Neighborcare Health.

Keeping recommended vaccinations up-to-date helps keep children and adults healthy by helping the body fight against diseases. Vaccination also protects our community. We are holding Saturday vaccination events to help kids and families get caught up on their immunizations, including COVID-19. Join us July 20, 2024, from 9am-1pm at our Meridian and Columbia City clinics in Seattle. July is Minority Mental Health Month. This month serves as a reminder that there are often additional obstacles to mental health care for racial and ethnic minority groups, as well as additional stresses that impact mental health like witnessing or experiencing racial discrimination or violence. Neighborcare’s school-based health centers are now closed for summer break. Services will resume when school starts in the fall. If you need care over summer break, school-based patients are welcome to go to any Neighborcare primary care site. Be sure to let the contact center or front desk staff know you are a school-based patient. Neighborcare offers a sliding fee discount for patients if cost is a barrier. Insurance is also accepted. Visit neighborcare.org/clinics for locations. See additional slides for other resources for seeking care during break. Have a great summer!! #ValueCHCs #NeighborcareHealth #Neighborcare #Seattle #PugetSound #HealthcareForAll #HealthEquity #CHC #CommunityAction #SeattleNonProfit
