2023 Inductee into the National Teachers Hall of Fame, 2014 Texas State Teacher of the Year, Voices for Honest Education Fellow
I am so honored that I was able to spend ten days in Costa Rica with 48 amazing educators from across the U.S. Here are a few shots. We visited schools, immersed ourselves in the culture, and celebrated the beauty of global learning. All students should see themselves as citizens of the world. The NEA Foundation has prioritized global learning for years. I'm proud to be an NEAF board member and a 2015 global fellow. Thank you, The NEA Foundation!
