We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with CoverMyMeds to support the NCPDP Foundation’s #CoordinationofCare and #Innovation strategic initiative. This initiative reflects the industry's shift to a team-based care model, recognizing the crucial role of #pharmacists alongside other providers. Through innovation and collaboration, CoverMyMeds’ solutions seamlessly connect the healthcare network to improve medication access; thereby increasing speed to therapy and reducing prescription abandonment. Together, we have an opportunity to transform the healthcare industry's approach to patient care. We are looking forward to the positive impact this collaboration will bring! We were incredibly proud to present the first-ever Charles Pulido, R.Ph. Excellence Award to its namesake, Charles Pulido, and our friends at STChealth at NCPDP’s Annual Conference! Charlie is a co-founder of NCPDP and a changemaker in the #pharmacy industry, while STChealth is an industry leader in #vaccine intelligence. We’ll be choosing a grant project each year for this award to honor the completed grant that most fully optimized the vision and purpose of the NCPDP Foundation. We’re so pleased to announce that we’ve awarded a $150,000 grant to STChealth so they can continue to lead research efforts to advance the NCPDP National Facilitator Model pilot project! The National Facilitator Model is designed to help #pharmacies, #prescribers, and government agencies surveil #publichealth and respond more effectively to #pandemics and crises like the opioid epidemic. Thank you to the following funding sources for making this project possible: LeeAnn Stember Endowment Fund, the FDB (First Databank, Inc.) Patient Safety Founder’s Donor Fund, the GoodRx Access to Care Founder’s Donor Fund, and the NCPDP Foundation General Grant Fund. We’re excited to share that we’ve awarded a $190,000 grant to InfoWerks Data Services, LLC, to support a project that aims to streamline #dataexchange for the FDA’s REMS plan! The goal is to help get #specialtymedications into the hands of those who need them quickly and safely. The project will build a #pharmacy management system and name a technology vendor and a REMS administrator, which means REMS programs will be much easier for pharmacies to launch. Thank you to the following funding sources for making this project possible: the FDB (First Databank, Inc.) Patient Safety Founder Donor’s Fund, the GoodRx Access to Care Founder Donor’s Fund, and the NCPDP Foundation General Grant Fund. If you know an NCPDP (National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Inc.) member in Workgroup 11, give them a shout-out below—they made the REMS transaction a reality! 🌟 Exciting Announcement From DTA! 🌟 DTA Releases third ‘DTx Integration & Workflow Report’ https://lnkd.in/grmG3zpG Over the last 18 months, DTA has worked with industry stakeholders in close partnership with NCPDP (National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Inc.) to address identified pain points in DTx integration workflows. A critical barrier identified is understanding the payment pathways as it impacts each stakeholder downstream. Through the generous support of the NCPDP Foundation, DTA was awarded a grant to research how DTx products would be reimbursed. Our research is included in this updated DTx integration & workflow report. We are proud of the efforts of our member task groups and other engaged stakeholders as we present this third DTx Integration & Workflow Report, which addressed both prescription and non-prescription models. Join us TODAY, March 7th to learn more about our updated report: https://lnkd.in/gF9ua6y3 #DTA #DTx #digitaltherapeutics #DTAEvents #workflow #integration #NCPDP #MedTech #HealthTech #reimbursement
