About us
The North Carolina Health Information Management Association (NCHIMA) represents more than 3,000 committed health information professionals who are employed in such roles as HIM Directors, information analysts, quality management analysts, coders, risk managers, compliance officers, consultants, educators and technicians. The Association is organized to provide member services, such as continuing education and communication. We also work to educate the public about the nature of our profession, and to advise the public on important issues such as health information and privacy. NCHIMA represents over 3,000 members knowledgeable on critical topics such as health care information technology (electronic medical records), privacy and security of health information, coding, and reimbursement. We also hold many events throughout the year for continuing education, including an Annual Meeting, Coding Roundtable Meetings, Webinars, and other workshops.

NCHIMA Members: AHIMA is excited to share a new MyAHIMA experience with you on July 15! The new MyAHIMA Hub will feature a fresh look and improved functionality to better serve your needs. During the transition to the new MyAHIMA Hub, MyAHIMA will be offline beginning Friday, July 12 at 6 p.m. ET. This outage affects accessibility to MyAHIMA, the AHIMA Store, CEU Center, and Learning Center, in addition to AHIMA24 Conference registration.
