Sports facilities need to remain modern to appeal to fans and support their communities. Rather than building new, updating aging sports facilities with new infrastructure and mechanics is inherently less carbon- and energy-intensive. Today, we’re proud to announce that our renovation and redesign of the Central Bank Center achieves LEED Silver status! "Working with local firm EOP Architects, we were able to retain the building's iconic nature and celebrate its importance to the people of Kentucky by utilizing the existing structure, while also making a positive environmental impact by prioritizing the use of local and low-emitting materials, daylighting strategies, and efficient water and waste management,” said Andrzej Czech, AIA, LEED Green Associate, Principal and lead architect on the project.
