Dear Native Son Community and Allies,   As we reflect on the incredible milestones achieved throughout 2023, we're immensely proud of the strides we've made together in advancing the voices and rights of the Black LGBTQIA community, particularly Black gay and queer men. Your unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our success, and we're excited to invite you to be part of our continued journey toward positive change.   This year, our events, initiatives, and partnerships have brought about monumental impact, here are some highlights:   Native Son Awards – June 2023 With a staggering 913 million media impressions and the presence of 300 attendees, our Native Son Awards stood as a beacon of celebration and recognition for the mavericks within our community. Our successful partnerships with major brands amplified our message, broadening our reach and impact.   Black Gay Leadership Forum – September 2023 The resonating impact of 28.5 million media impressions and the engagement of 120 in-person participants plus 3,000 streaming attendees exemplify the power of collective voices and the exchange of invaluable insights around business, entrepreneurship, health equity, and social activism within the Black gay and queer community.   Rustin Premiere in partnership with Netflix – October 2023 Our collaboration for the Rustin film premiere garnered an astonishing 54.95 million impressions, marking a significant moment of visibility and celebration for an often-unsung Black gay civil rights architect and pioneer Bayard Rustin — the architect of the iconic March On Washington. With 100 in-person attendees, we were able to celebrate Mr. Rustin’s legacy and the exceptional, award-worthy work of leading man, Colman Domingo, as well as, two-time Tony Award-winning director George C. Wolfe.   These highlighted achievements wouldn't have been possible without your support and dedication to our cause. As we approach key fundraising opportunities, we invite you to be part of these significant moments of giving:   Giving Tuesday: November 28, 2023 World AIDS Day: December 1, 2023 Native Son 101 List: December 12, 2023   Your continued engagement and financial support are crucial in helping us reach our fundraising goals so we can continue to expand the reach and impact of the organization. The vision for Native Son is global and grand; however, we need the support of our community and allies to realize this vision. Together, let's amplify our voices, uplift our community, and pave the way for a more inclusive future. Your generosity and commitment will fuel our initiatives and further our mission to create a world where Black gay and queer men feel seen, heard, respected and empowered. Donate Here: https://lnkd.in/gKxdSzKc   Thank you for being an integral part of our journey.   In Brotherhood, Allyship, and with gratitude,   Native Son
