Have you wondered what it's like to work at Native? Today our QA Manager of Customer Experience, Princess Castro, is walking us through a day in her life as she makes sure our customer experience is always at 💯. 1️⃣ Paint us a colorful picture of a day in your job! What are some of the exciting tasks or activities that make your workday unique and enjoyable? I wake up between 4:30-5am every day and I usually start writing in my journal my intentions for the day before checking my phone. After, I go to the beach near my house to surf for about 30 mins then head back to get ready to start my workday. Around 8am, I read and respond to all my emails, slack/teams’ updates, gather all my notes for any meetings I have that day, and go through the CX project management sheet to check the urgent and ongoing issues that needs my attention. One of the things I love about my role at Native is how I'm able to work cross functionally with variety of teams - from R&D, Social, E-Com, Ops, and our CS team. Whether it’s formulating a response to an ingredient/safety question with R&D, working with Ops team about product inventory, to QA'ing the performance of our CS team, my role is rewarding since I get to work with awesome people throughout the day, gather and learn new process and information, and explore ways on how we can continue to improve the consumer experience for our brand. Every day is not the same and I truly enjoy that! 2️⃣ If you had to describe your job using emojis, which ones would you choose and why? How do these emojis capture the essence of your daily experiences and interactions? 🤔 - to have a curious and growth mindset. As part of QA, we often evaluate processes/procedures that are working and to think of other ways we can do to continue to better and improve. 🤯 - to describe the "what just happened?" moment. Every day isn't the same and there will be times where things can come up unexpectedly (good or bad - it's all part of growth!). 🥳 - to celebrate the little wins. We want to make the consumer experience better through positive interaction! 3️⃣ Share a funny or memorable anecdote from your job that always brings a smile to your face. What happened, and why was it such a memorable moment for you? We once received a wedding invite from a consumer for the team to attend their wedding because they love our brand and their experience with us so much. This always brings a smile to my face because we made an impact to the consumer that they considered us to be part of their big day!
