Thank you to everyone who joined us for our hands on educational event "Anatomy of a Roof" hosted by GAF Lynn Picone kicked us off, teaching the group about single ply systems, the different types of roof decks, the basic functions of insulation, fastening and attachment considerations, preventative maintenance opportunities, and more! Herb Van Gent showed us how to perform a core cut and what to identify within the core sample. Daniel Caivano, M.Ed. and the infamous Wally Brown of the YouTube series Dave & Wally "Roof it Right" let us put some practice into heat welding TPO while teaching us some secret tips of the trade. Justin Finnerty rounded out the evening with some hands on liquid applied coating practice! We can't thank the GAF team enough for putting together such an exciting, organized, and valuable event.
