In a letter to President Biden sent today, NGFA and 55 organizations called on the U.S. government to act immediately to avert potential disruption at port operations along the East and Gulf Coasts. “As the harvest season gets underway, even the slightest delay in moving American products efficiently has a disruptive and harmful effect on our supply chain and economy,” NGFA President and CEO Mike Seyfert said. “Keeping these ports open and operating at full capacity is critical to NGFA members and rural America.” https://lnkd.in/eVQ6RD6e #transportation #ports #exports #agriculture #agribusiness

Congratulations to JoAnn Brouillette on her NGFA Outstanding Industry Service Award. JoAnn’s leadership and decades of dedication to the agricultural industry has left an enduring impact on both our organization and the industry as a whole. #agriculture #agribusiness #leadership
This past week NGFA Exec. Committee bestowed the Outstanding Indusrty Service Award to JoAnn Brouillette of Demeter LLC . JoAnn’s service to our industry has spanned decades , culminating in Chairwoman ( our first , about darn time, 124, 125years) of the NGFA and two years more of outstanding leadership and Chair of NGFA’s Executive Board. What an outstanding job she did in some challenging times. Fun fact, JoAnn is our only legacy leader, she is the only Chairwoman to follow ( I don’t have the year but a number of decades back) a family member to the Chairmanship of NGFA, that of her father, Don Brouillette . What an amazing legacy . With Chris Boerm- ADM , NGFA Indusrty Chairman and Mike Seyfert, President and CEO of NGFA
