Just wrapped an amazing 58th National Association of Regional Councils Annual Conference and Exhibition in Atlanta, my first as executive director. An amazing four days with incredibly discussions, fun outings, a fabulous awards dinner, and so much more. Special thanks to the Atlanta Regional Commission for hosting us and to Melva LaJoy Legrand, CMP, DES and her amazing team for elevating the experience. And a huge congrats to Carol Vinton and Chuck Wemple (Houston-Galveston Area Council) for ascending to President and Executive Directors Council Chair respectively. And congrats to Jennifer Robinson, Justin Kiel, Chris Barnett, Tyson Warner, Brian Martin, Aileen Bouclé, AICP, and Ryan Vogt for their new positions as well!
