🌟 The President’s Tune In Tuesday: NASW WI in Action 🌟 I’m often asked: What is National Association of Social Workers - Wisconsin Chapter doing for me? Why should I join? Today, I’m excited to share a new project that directly responds to member feedback—The NASW-WI Supervision Connect Program! What is it? This program is designed to connect members working in agencies that don’t provide supervision with professionals who can offer it. One of the key components of this program is the development of an 8-hour course on Clinical Supervision, which will cover the critical aspects of providing quality supervision. We’re accepting proposals to create and facilitate this course! The deadline for applications is November 31, 2024, and final decisions will be announced by February 15, 2025. For more information and to apply, visit our Continuing Education webpage or contact Nadir Carlson at [email protected]. We look forward to making this resource available to help social workers at all stages of their careers! Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting program! #socialwork #MSW #CAPSW #LCSW #CAPSW #BSW #LMSW #Socialworkers #clinicalsupervision #NASW

Today marks the International Day of Nonviolence, a reminder of the power of peace in creating social change. For social workers, engaging with this day is vital–we advocate for justice, understanding, and compassion in our communities. Together, let’s promote non-violence and foster a culture of empathy.
