A productive morning at the 2024 #NAMAFlyIn! During the SNAP Policy panel, panelists K. Michael Conaway from the Conaway Graves Group, Sherri Hager from Vistar, A PFG Company and David Pemberton from The Pepi Companies shared their experiences and insights on integrating SNAP into convenience services operations. Advocacy 101 was equally engaging with Zak Baig from Cassidy & Associates, Casey Christine Higgins from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Benjamin Rosenbaum from the Porter Group LLC providing strategies to break through Washington’s gridlock. The impending tax cliff and its effects on the industry were discussed during the Tax Policy session featuring Max Pedrotti and American Food & Vending’s Steve Wells.
