We have good results from Naftogaz Group companies – Ukrgasvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta! Our specialists increased gas production by 8% in the first six months of this year compared to the same period in 2023, which is 7.3 bcm of commercial gas. 👉 This result already exceeds the operating plan by almost 2%. In the first quarter of 2024, Naftogaz Group significantly improved its consolidated financial result! 👉 Net profit amounted to UAH 10.9 billion, while in the same period last year, the Group received a net loss of UAH 1.4 billion. 👉 Consolidated operating profit amounted to UAH 12.4 billion. 18.2 billion UAH! That's how much Naftogaz Group has contributed to the state budget in the first three months of 2024. Additionally, nearly UAH 1.5 billion has been paid to local budgets. "We are fully aware of the importance of our operations and, amid the ongoing conflict, we are doing everything possible to ensure Ukraine has access to domestically produced gas and fulfills its tax obligations," says Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov. Online registration is now open for the First Ukrainian Biomethane Forum, which will take place on 22 April in Kyiv. At the event, senior representatives from the European Union and Ukrainian state authorities will discuss key steps to develop biomethane production in Ukraine and the prospects of integrating this market segment into the EU's energy system. 👉 Further details about the event including speakers and planned discussions can be found here: ukraine-biomethane.com/en/ 👉 Online registration for the event is available until 21:00 on April 21 here: https://lnkd.in/eynnjaNu The forum is organized by the Ukrainian Parliamentary Committee on Energy, Housing, and Utilities Services, Naftogaz Group, and is supported by USAID’s "RADA: Next Generation" program. Background: According to analysts, Ukraine could annually produce 21.8 billion cubic meters of biogas and/or biomethane with the country’s current raw materials base. The EU has clear goals regarding the development of a sustainable energy sector including a range of biomethane initiatives. Current estimates suggest the EU would struggle to meet its RePowerEU goals without the Ukrainian biomethane market.

Early on April 11, russia targeted two Ukrainеʼs UGS facilities. 👉 Operations are ongoing as specialists address the aftermath of the shelling. Fortunately, no employees were harmed. "The situation is under control of our specialists and all involved services," reported Naftogaz Group СЕО Oleksiy Chernyshov.
