This week, NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) hosted a retreat for chapter staff from across the country. We engaged in meaningful collaboration, explored new initiatives, and planned for the future—all aimed at enhancing the experience for our chapter communities. Since 2003, the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter has been dedicated to serving the local director community in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Our mission is to provide exemplary director programming and opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and interaction. By convening directors and experts to examine leading practices and anticipate developing issues, we aim to help participating directors be more effective in the boardroom and add value to their companies. Our focus on improved corporate governance fosters a positive image of corporations and business organizations, furthering our commitment to ethical and responsible leadership.
