At this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, I joined industry leaders to discuss the profound impact of this shift and how the excellence and cultural relevance brought by these athletes is undeniable. Female athletes are excelling and bringing that success off the court to lead in media, entrepreneurship, and social influence. For brands, the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) presents a wealth of storytelling opportunities – and the data underscores the power of these partnerships.
