We recently joined Director Anthony Fellow and Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District (Upper District) GM Tom Love for a community briefing on Metropolitan’s Climate Adaptation Master Plan for Water in Monrovia. Representatives from Upper District’s member agencies, Main San Gabriel Basin WaterMaster and elected officials learned how our #PureWaterSoCal program aligns with our #CAMP4W decision-making process. We will be continuing the conversation on CAMP4W during a virtual listening session with environmental groups on August 13. #UpperDistrict #MemberAgencies #InTheCommunity #CommunityEngagement #PureWaterSoCal #CAMP4W

For 15 years, we've had the pleasure of partnering with the REACH program at University of La Verne exposing first-generation college students to utilities across #SoCal. Our recent visit to Three Valleys Municipal Water District's water treatment facility was just one of many experiences the students took part in. #MWDeducates #teachertuesday

Congratulations to the five student recipients who received college scholarships sponsored by Metropolitan's Hispanic Employees Association. The HEA celebrated the recipients and their families, both in person and virtually, at a banquet where Board Chair Adán Ortega, Jr. delivered the keynote speech and presented the scholarships. The Henry Lozano Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of the HEA's founding president who championed diversity in the workplace and equal employment opportunities.
