We're thrilled to introduce the creation of the 'More Than A One Night Stand Sessions' an extensive series of free programs and events, ahead of triple j's (now sold out!!) 'One Night Stand' in Warrnambool, Victoria 🐋 The 'More Than A One Night Stand Sessions' will feature music service organisations from across the country to engage with the local community to deliver bespoke industry-training programs, panel sessions, songwriting workshops and an industry forum leading up to the event! A highlight will be the inaugural Music Expo at the 'One Night Stand'. Attendees will have a fantastic opportunity to connect with over 12 top music industry bodies and support agencies, exploring the essential services they provide to the Australian music scene. The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is calling for expressions of interest from individuals and organisations to participate in the Australia Pavilion cultural program 🌟 For six months of Expo 2025 Osaka, the Australia Pavilion will showcase unique performances, art, culture, and entertainment, reflecting Australia's vibrant spirit! It is anticipated performers will be engaged for a period of one to two weeks, with the number of performances and frequency to be negotiated. DFAT may not be able to cover all costs – this will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Great news for Tasmania-based artists or arts workers 👏 Music Tasmania and Arts Tasmania have just announced the Regional & Remote Music Summit Travel Fund, which will support three Tasmania based artists or arts workers to attend the inaugural Regional and Remote Music Summit in Darwin. Successful applicants will receive $2500 to cover travel, accommodation, summit fees, and a fully paid ticket to the event. Applications close this Friday 19 July at 5pm AEST.
