Be Carbon Monoxide Aware! Referred to as “the silent killer,” carbon monoxide (CO) is a gas that can’t be seen, or smelled. Make sure your heating system is inspected every year by a licensed heating contractor. CO detectors can add a layer of protection. Click the link for more info. https://ow.ly/PM7B50TZFzz

Alert: Customers are being reminded to be aware of individuals impersonating utility workers. All M.U.D. employees carry photo ID cards and wear uniforms. If someone comes to your door claiming to be with the gas or water company, be sure to ask to see their M.U.D. photo ID. If you have questions or want to confirm the purpose of a worker at your door, call our Emergency Hotline at 402.554.7777. This line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If the person is unable to produce valid ID or if you feel threatened, do not let the person in and call the police. Remember, M.U.D. employees do not collect money from customers at their homes or businesses.
