We have assembled a dedicated Fiber to the Tower (FTTT) team in Utah that handles planning, fielding and design of projects to meet the needs of our wireless partners. Recently we completed engineering on over 150 towers across Utah, upgrading each site to 10 Gbps. Our project management team ensures all upgrades and builds meet deadlines, and update clients weekly. Mountain Ltd. engineers, located along the Wasatch Front, provide comprehensive field engineering coverage throughout the state. With the growing need for connectivity in Utah's rural areas, it's vital to keep wireless towers up to date and maintain strong relationships with our wireless partners. Our engineering team collaborates with clients and wireless partners to conduct site walks and determine the most cost-efficient routes for tower connectivity. #FTTT #MountainLtd

It’s International Women in Engineering Day! 🏔 Today, we proudly celebrate all women in engineering and want to spotlight three of our exceptional engineers at Mountain Ltd., Shelline Williamson, Khloe Carrizoza, and Carole Bishop, who inspire us with their dedication and expertise. Shelline Williamson transitioned into engineering through her experience with the US Navy Seabees and civilian utility construction, which combined with her college education gave her a strong foundation to become an Outside Plant Engineer. As an Outside Plant Design Quality Control Manager at Mountain, Ltd., Shelline ensures that designs and CAD permits are accurate and compliant with industry standards, with a focus on OSP fiber projects for both residential and commercial properties. She enjoys problem-solving, and collaborating with diverse professionals, which makes her work dynamic and engaging. Khloe Carrizoza was inspired to get into engineering by her family, who are engineers in the telecom industry. She began her career as an entry level CAD Drafter and has advanced to her current Senior CAD Lead position. Khloe drafts permits for various states, including Arizona, California, and Texas. She enjoys the challenges of creating different types of permits, and the opportunity to teach others about the specific regulations and requirements of each jurisdiction. Carole Bishop started her career as an Operator at a phone company before eventually becoming an Outside Network Designer until she retired in 2019. At Mountain Ltd., Carole’s day involves field meetings with electric companies, customer consultations, and measurements of cable clearances on poles. She assesses projects to determine pole readiness for additional communications attachments, ensuring compliance with standards. Carole enjoys the creative problem-solving aspect of engineering, adapting to unique customer needs, and the ever-evolving telecommunications technology.
