This month our Foundation hosted the 9th annual Swing Pink fundraiser! Thank you to our generous community of supporters for making this event an amazing success, with more than $125,000 raised to benefit cancer services at our new Specialty and Cancer Care Pavilion. The pavillion is currently under construction at the historic Fort Monmouth Myer Center site in Tinton Falls and is set to open in 2026. We also thank our guest speaker for the event, grateful patient Christy Mendes, who shared her inspiring breast cancer journey. September is Sepsis Awareness Month, observed annually to raise awareness of this life-threatening condition that occurs when the body's immune response to infection injures its own tissue and organs and can lead to shock, multi-organ failure and death, especially if not recognized early and treated promptly. Today in recognition of World Sepsis Day, MMC, team members staffed an information table and wore red and red ribbons to help raise that awareness. Go to SepsisAwarenessMonth.org for more information. #SepsisAwarenessMonth #SAM2024
