#ICYMI Last week, we shared a demo of our EMR's newest feature: The AI-Assisted Patient Overview ✨ Developed in a partnership between our clinical and technology teams, this feature minimizes the time that Modern Animal's doctors spend sifting through medical records to prepare for their appointments by using #GenerativeAI to synthesize a patient's entire available medical history into an easily accessible snapshot. Here's why the Patient Overview has become a doctor favorite: 🌐 Comprehensive Aggregation: The AI-Assisted Patient Overview pulls together signalment, recent chat logs, diagnoses, medications, vaccinations, diagnostics, and more from our in-house EMR system. 🤝 Interaction Reminders: One of the features our doctors love the most is that the Patient Overview tells them how many times they've seen a pet or owner, so that they can easily pick up the conversation where they left off last (This is especially helpful when you haven’t seen a pet in a while). 🔗 Connecting Dots: The overview points out historical patterns in a pet's health history that other EMR’s don't. For example, it can note that the pet has had a history of allergies and what treatments have or have not worked. 🌀 Dynamic Updates: Content refreshes automatically before and after appointments, when prescriptions are added, after diagnostic tests, and following chat interactions with members. Core to any great veterinary experience (and its eventual outcome) is a trusting relationship between a pet parent and their pet's care provider 🤝🔒 This trust is built in so many ways. Farewell Austin! The last two weeks in Austin were absolutely phenomenal! I had such a blast getting to work with Modern Animal alongside Dr. Stacy Mozisek and Dr. Erika Evanoff Weaver! I got to learn and pick their brains and see a different aspect of veterinary medicine! I fell in LOVE with Claude their clinic software and love the modern and high quality medicine they practice! They truly practice a strong sense of evidence based medicine that provides great care for their patients! Can’t wait to come back and visit sometime soon!
