🦸♂️Finding a job where your #ADHD (or autism or other 'speciality') is not a handicap, but a 'Superpower'. 🦸Listen to Saga: She is only 19 years old, but has found a profession she excels in, not despite her ADHD but because her ability to hyperfocus on something she loves. At here age, I wasn't even diagnosed and still frustrated by failing while trying to do things "the regular way." 📢 Speaking about this - in front of 500 people and high level politicians - wasn't easy for her but she did it anyway - just as she competed in the Abilympics - through her motto to overcome her anxiety: "just try, the worst that can happen is probably not even bad". And what she said send a shiver through the room. A true inspiration - for me, and all people that have something special. And who is normal anyway? 🧘♂️ My ADHD is still frustrating when forgetting my umbrella, start tasks that are way beyond my todolist or be distracted by every bird in the sky. But I came to learn it is what makes me who I am and found a job where it is my superpower: connecting dots, bring energy and think creatively. And I wish this for everybody.
