    On a scale of 1 to 🫠, how much do you love OOO responses from prospects? If it’s more toward the melted emoji side, you’ll be glad to know it won’t affect your sequences anymore. Mixmax now (automatically) pauses your sequence when someone’s Out of Office and picks it back up when they’re ready to roll—no opportunities left hanging.     What works with this cold email Rita Melkonian from marketing received, and what doesn’t. ✅ Subject line is informal and looks like it’s an internal comm. ✅ The value prop is specified. ✅ Social proof (with mention of the competitor) is used. ✅ A super low-friction CTA that adds value for the recipient is used. ✅ Straightforward opt-out in the form of a P.S. ❌ The opening line is irrelevant and doesn’t tie into the rest of the email. ❌ The paragraphs are too long. ❌ There is nothing in bold to grab attention. ❌ The total word count is 135, which is too long for an initial cold email.     🤔 Are you really understanding your customers? In sales, we often complicate things and focus too much on closing deals instead of truly knowing our customers' needs. Here's a crazy idea before your next prospect call: 1. Understand their priorities. 2. Know what success looks like for them. 3. Identify their obstacles. 4. Determine if you can solve their problems. Stop trying to fit a square peg through a round hole.
