Mitchell Martin, Inc. (MMI) is a Talent Acquisition Solutions leader that is powered by innovation and driven by integrity. MMI provides Information Technology staffing, Healthcare staffing and Payroll Solutions nationwide. Founded in 1984, the company initially helped Financial Services companies acquire IT talent in the New York marketplace. Today, MMI has over 1,000 resources deployed across 40 states with annual revenues of $200 million with a diversified client base that includes Insurance, Life Sciences, Technology, Travel, Media and Healthcare. MMI’s solutions include the placement of IT and Healthcare professionals on a temporary and full-time basis as well as payroll services. Our clients span from mid-market companies and some of largest well-known brands in the US.     Today marks a significant day for Mitchell Martin Inc. as we celebrate the start of our 40th year in business! It's a wonderful milestone that has arrived so quickly. I am immensely proud of this achievement and of every member of our team who has contributed to our success over the years. From the very beginning, I believed my purpose was to help people, and there is no greater fulfillment than assisting our candidates in finding meaningful career opportunities. Over the years, we have faced numerous challenges - from the 1987 crash to the Dotcom crash, September 11th, the Financial Crisis, and more recently, Covid. Yet, these moments never deterred us or diminished our ambition; in fact, we often experienced our most rapid growth following these downturns. One of our proudest achievements is becoming an Employee-Owned Company through our ESOP. This reflects our commitment to being a people-first company and recognizing our team members as our greatest partners. This structure also allows us to remain independent, maintain our entrepreneurial spirit, and focus on long-term success. On Sunday I had the pleasure of reconnecting with my original partner, Toby Mitchell. We reminisced about the early days when a brother and sister who owned 80 Wall Street, our original office location, took a chance on us despite our lack of financial history. We remembered the time before computers, when Toby, my wife Mary, and I commuted into the city, and Mary would type up resumes after her day of work at Macy’s. We recalled how we only paid ourselves once a year to keep our focus on our long-term goals, and the joy of making our first placement at TIAA with a husband-and-wife duo. We also reflected on the many individuals who played a role in our early success, our first newspaper ad, and how we have outlasted many of our initial competitors and clients. To celebrate this milestone, we will be collecting stories throughout the year to create a book of memories. We would love to hear your best stories about Mitchell Martin.
