MISSION STATEMENT The Missouri Water Environment Association is dedicated to protecting and improving Missouri's water environment. WHO WE ARE The Missouri Water Environment is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of water quality and water resources, and the relationship of these resources to the total environment. The Association advances the information, increases public understanding and promotes sound policy. MWEA strives to be Missouri's premier organization for water resources. MWEA represents a diverse membership of water environment professionals from the public and private sector. Through the Water Environment Federation our members have access to a broad range of technical information and publications. WEF has about 35,000 members worldwide and publishes over 180 books and manuals of technical practice. The MWEA biosolids committee and City of Jeff City is hosting a training / tour of the Jeff City WWTP. The training will provide MDNR 2 accredited hours. RSVP required. Date: August 10th, and the deadline for the RSVPs is August 7th. Location: City of Jeff City Administration Building at 401 Mokane Rd, Jefferson City, MO Event: Training on Centrifuge Pilot Results / Tour of WWTP – MDNR 2 accredited hours We are limited to 25 attendees, so we are giving priority to MWEA members and operators first! Lunch will also be provided after the tour/training.
