Jack is currently an Engineering Design Technician and has been with MDC for almost 3 years! Jack's favorite part about his job is the variety of different design fields and design opportunities. Jack said the variety includes architectural, structural, civil and even MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing). One day Jack might be working on a boat ramp and the next day he might be working on a fish hatchery. During his time at MDC he has worked on projects for 41 different conservation areas! Cody's favorite part about his job is when he is teaching a conservation or outdoor skills program, and the participants are clearly understanding and enjoying themselves. Cody said that seeing a spark of passion for wildlife and the outdoors in other people always makes him smile and is motivational to him. Chad is a Regional Resource Management Supervisor for the Northeast Region of MDC! Chad has been with MDC for 22 years and a Regional Supervisor since 2017. Chad's favorite part about his job is supporting his team by assisting them achieve their goals as they serve nature and citizens. As a Regional Supervisor, Chad gets to work with agencies internal budgeting and work planning process to request funding, staffing, and equipment needs to achieve work for protecting and managing fish, forests, and wildlife. Some of his favorite days are when the projects come to fruition and he gets to assist staff conduct habitat management, gathering data, and getting his hands on fish and wildlife. What you may not know about Chad is that he is an avid waterfowl hunter and enjoys managing wetland habitat.
