In all of her years as a treatment provider, Stacy has never met a child who talked about suicide because they wanted attention. She almost always knew it to be because of the intense pain that was engulfing their lives. It's a feeling that often leads to hopelessness. In her latest book, “Dancing in the Gray, How to Listen and Support Suicidal Kids”, Stacy gives us an inside look into the lives of children coping with suicidal thoughts, the psychological reasoning behind these thoughts, and most importantly, how to listen.
