Aemster had the honor of being the official scent system partner for Milk of Lime's fashion show at the Berlin Fashion Week. 🙌 As the models walked the catwalk, Aemster® ensured that a scent in line with the show, infused the air, creating a multi-sensory experience for the visitors.  In the world of fashion, scent proves to be a powerful tool to reinforce brand perception and can be used during a show to immerse visitors in the designer's thoughts. On the grounds of a former crematorium, the Silent Green, the Berlin Contemporary winners, the Belgian-German duo Julia Ballardt and Nico Verhaegen, presented their collection for Milk of Lime. This season, they continue to play with contrasts alongside nature-inspired materials. We had the opportunity to design costume for 'To The Hands' Premiere February 16th - 19:00h SZENE Salzburg Tickets here: https://shorturl.at/jvAWZ The sensuality of touch, the pleasure of a hand sliding across the back, the tension when in close proximity: to the hands is a choreography of touch. On string and vocal compositions of Caroline Shaw the five dancers engage in intimate, careful and affective relations. Travelling through historic artistic and social imagery around touch, the dancers depict the deep need of touch as a base to understand the world. From the Ain Sakhri stone, to the famous fresco painting by Michelangelo – The Creation of Adam -, to old scores of medieval social dances, to early recordings of contact improvisation: to the hands is a wild ride across these events, transformed and interpreted by the dancers. A sensual, sensitive choreography that makes one reconsider what we might too often take for granted: touch.
