Meet Carley Taylor, our Chief Clinical Officer. Throughout her career at Milestone, Carley has exemplified perseverance and dedication on her path from weekend Med Tech to her current leadership position. Along the way, Carley's passion for caregiving led her to embrace increasingly challenging roles, including Med tech, Weekend Supervisor, Resident Care Director, Director of Health and Wellness, Area Clinical Specialist, Vice President of Health & Wellness, and now the Chief Clinical Officer. Carley is an example of Milestone's commitment to nurturing talent and promoting from within. "I feel supported here" she said. "Anything you need, you always have someone to reach out to." 🫶 For those considering a career at Milestone, Carley offers this advice: "Never give up. There is always room to grow with Milestone. With a remarkable 13-year tenure as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Debbie's story is one of commitment and genuine love for residents. Before her role at Caley Ridge, Debbie devoted 16 years to shaping young minds as an elementary school teacher. Following this, she spent 6-7 years in home care, marking the beginning of her profound connection with the senior community. For Debbie, the joy lies in being needed by the residents, forming a bond that feels like gaining a new family. She says, "It's a win-win!" The transition from teaching to home care and eventually to Caley Ridge has been guided by her deep affection for seniors. Remarkably, Debbie finds striking similarities in the needs of her current role and her past experiences. It's not just a job for her; it's a calling. Being the Director of Sales and Marketing allows her to nurture a second family and actively participate in the residents' life journey, a responsibility she embraces with heartfelt dedication. Outside of her career, Debbie has an active lifestyle, working out five days a week. This routine keeps her physically fit and ensures she can keep up with the energy of her children and grandchildren. Debbie is also an avid reader.
