We're excited to highlight the impact of our partnership with Mighty Oak Medical and their innovative FIREFLY® Technology! . . . At  Children's Hospital Colorado, surgeons used FIREFLY 3D printed guides to deliver personalized scoliosis surgery for Lane, a young patient with hemophilia, a bleeding disorder. As the surgeon said, "The 3D printing lets you get that really precise fit for complex spinal instrumentation… where even a millimeter or two off matters….the 3D printing helps reduce potential error.” 3D-printed anatomical models and surgical guides help physicians accurately plan and place pedicle screws used in spinal fusion procedures. HP 3D Printing technologies are enabling our partners to disrupt the healthcare industry. Mighty Oak Medical is harnessing HP’s Multi Jet Fusion 5200 to create 3D printed anatomical models and disposable guides. These guides help surgeons create patient specific pre-surgical planning platform, increasing pedicle screw placement accuracy from 59% to 99.7%.
