Lenox Michael Foods Community Relations team had an amazing time serving as a destination and challenge giver for The Lenox Chamber’s 1st-ever GRRRReat! Scavenger Hunt! Participants at the Michael Foods stop had to complete an egg throwing event to earn their clue! This event brings community members together for some fun and excitement. It is also a wonderful opportunity to introduce people to the incredible businesses we have in our community and to teach them more about what makes them so GRRRReat!

MFI Wakefield had an opportunity to present and interact with 3rd-6th graders during a STEM program for the Wakefield Community School. We presented information about our Farm and Plant location. During the presentation, the kids learned how chickens are given different rations based on age. They were handed “recipes” of different rations which they got to put together using candy, as feed ingredients. One of our Precision Mechanics took time to showcase the ultrasonic equipment that we use to help troubleshoot. I think our team had just as much fun presenting as the kids did learning!
