  • As we celebrate #NationalCleanEnergyWeek, Miami-Dade County is taking bold steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build a resilient, sustainable future. 🌿 Our Climate Action Strategy is driving us toward a 50% emissions reduction by 2030 and net-zero by 2050, ensuring cleaner air, water, and land for all. Solar power at the North Dade Regional Library has already cut energy use by 50%, saving thousands in electricity costs and preventing hundreds of tons of CO2 emissions. We’re expanding these efforts to even more County facilities, including the Metro-West Detention Center, the South Dade Regional Library, and more to come! ☀️ Keep the momentum going this National Clean Energy Week and beyond as we power a brighter, cleaner future for #OurCounty. #CleanEnergyWeek #ClimateAction #Resilience #NetZero
