I am deeply honored to have served for the third time as the Executive Chair of the Metro New York Chapter National Black MBA Association 3rd Annual 'Power of You - Igniting Your Inner Fire' conference, held on July 18, 2024, at Morgan Stanley. This year’s conference was launched with a compelling keynote fireside chat with Tameka Alsop that expertly set the tone, addressing themes that resonated throughout our panels and discussions.
This event also featured the EmpowerXPO, a special market that showcased businesses led by women entrepreneurs. The XPO not only highlighted these dynamic enterprises but also included significant outreach for breast cancer awareness and patient navigation services underscoring our commitment to both economic empowerment and community health.
The conference concluded with another inspiring keynote fireside chat with Cat Tucker on 'Igniting Your Inner Fire,' serving as a powerful bookend to a day filled with insightful dialogue and exchange. With over 400 attendees and 48 dynamic speakers, the energy and engagement were truly remarkable, making this year's conference one of the most impactful yet.
