Six months of small town / rural organizing in Zebulon paid off in a big way at ONE Wake's non-partisan candidate assembly on Tuesday night. Over 100 residents and allies won the support of EVERY candidate for the Zebulon Board of Commissioners to preserve and expand the popular SmartRide mico-transit program that serves thousands of low income residents in the area, and Wake County Commissioner Donald Mial announced a new, $400,000 investment in the program from the county!
