Leaders from Methodist Midlothian brought their autographs and best wishes to the beam signing ceremony for Midlothian’s new Public Safety Center. When it opens this fall, it will house the headquarters for the city’s police and fire departments as well as the Emergency Operations Center. Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer Brooks Williams says, “Our relationship with local EMS providers and public safety professionals is extremely vital to providing the seamless level of care that this community deserves.”

Daniel Rodriguez works at Methodist Dallas — alongside the same doctors and nurses who saved his life in 2018. They removed a tumor from his brain, and Daniel spent several days in the intensive care unit. He was so impressed with our staff that after he recovered, he applied for a job at the hospital and got hired. Imagine working at the same hospital that saved your life. We had a blast this past weekend meeting some of our newest neighbors in Celina. We got a chance to introduce Methodist to thousands of people at the community's annual "Splash and Blast" July 4th festival. It was so busy! We also took a break to enjoy the fireworks like everyone else!

Methodist Charlton's first bowling team is already knocking out the opposition in area competitions. The team placed fourth in the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce's bowling tournament, which is a pretty strong showing considering there were 24 teams participating. That's how we roll!

For Mental Health Awareness Month, our Intentional Inclusion and Diversity Council brought Methodist Dallas employees and pet therapy dogs together for a sweet, slobbery lovefest. Of course, we tried the dog paw trend with a couple of our favorite fluffy friends, Caleb and Emma. They won our hearts!
