    MercyOne Elkader Medical Center was recently recognized for Pediatric Readiness by the Iowa Pediatric Emergency Assessment and Care Recognition Program (IPEAC). This program acknowledges hospitals of all sizes for their efforts in ensuring readiness to stabilize, treat, and, if necessary, transfer ill and injured children in Iowa.
