Knowing where you come from is important. Today I visited the building where Sr Catherine McAuley established a school and hospital. Although officially NOT open today, this MercyOne CNO rang the doorbell and was given a tour of this sacred space by a lovely man named Sean. A picture that includes both Florence Nightengale and a few of the Sister’s of Mercy hangs in the room that was the space used for the hospital. Holy ground. MercyOne Genesis Health System
